Ivan Petryak: We can pick up the 3 points with the help of our supporters

The winger looks ahead to the weekend home game with Mezokovesd.

Ivan Petryak picked up an ankle injury in the spring opening fixture against Honved. He then curled home the only goal of the game away at Ujpest. The Ukrainian winger played the 90 minutes in Wednesday's draw away at Debrecen. The 25 year old spoke to the Vidi website:

"I can still feel my injury but it is getting better day-by-day and I can train. I want to thank the medical staff and the physio's. They have helped me get back out there on the pitch quickly. We managed to score in the first half away at Debrecen, and continued to create chances throughout the match. However, we conceded the goal and could not force our will on the opponents after that. If we would have scored another goal in the 80 minutes before that, we would certainly have won, but this is football. We played well against Honved and DVSC and only picked up a point from each. We managed to beat Ujpest in what was a balanced game. Looking ahead to Mezokovesd on Saturday, they are a very strong side and we looked at them in detail in their 2-2 league draw with Ujpest. It was a very good game. That match was in their stadium while they visit Szekesfehervar on Saturday so I am sure that with the help of the supporters, we can pick up all three points" - commented Ivan Petryak ahead of the weekend game.
