The two managers gave their reaction following Saturday's OTP league match.
Imre Szabics:
"We played a good game against Ujpest. I want to thank the coaching staff and naturally the players for their attitude and their performance. This was my first league win as the manager of MOL Fehervar FC and that is a special thing. I'm glad the players have managed to accomplish a lot of things we’ve practiced in training. My players today had a perfect feel for the places where they had to pick up the ball, but it was a little annoying that we lost possession many times. I’m happy with the first half, but the second half had a stage where I wasn’t happy with our game. The semi-final of the MOL Hungarian Cup is coming next, MTK are the favourites for that meeting, but we would like to surprise them on Thursday.
Michael Oenning:
"First of all congratulations to Vidi for today's victory. The Fehervar side kept the three points at home. Throughout the game, our opponent played football in a very concentrated and collected way, and we have conceded four goals, so the facts speak for themselves. We shouldn’t complain, we have to accept Vidi’s great performance today. There are several reasons for the defeat, most notably the lack of our key players, who we could not replace properly. I tried to do everything and give everyone a chance, mainly because we win and lose together. Obviously I don’t like to get caught, but defeat is acceptable at the home of Vidi."
