Vidi travel to ZTE for the first leg, which will kick off at 20:00pm.
Zalaegerszeg TE FC are the opponents in the Hungarian Cup quarter-finals. The first leg will be played on Wednesday 4th March at 20:00pm.
We beat our cup opponents 4-1 on the 22nd February in the OTP league. An early header from Stopira got Vidi going. A great Petryak hatrick saw the red and blues comfortably pick up all 3 points despite a late consolation goal from Rado. ZTE picked up a very good result away at Mezokovesd, who had beaten Ferencvaros in their previous match. They are currently in 11th place but just two points from Paks and a safety position.
Although Matija Katanec was sent off in our game with ZTE, he is available for them in the Hungarian Cup. However, loan player Krisztian Tamas has been out for a while with injury.
ZTE met Kiskunfelegyhaza in the first round and beat them 5-1. They then saw off Budaors 7-3 while Szarvas were also knocked out 2-0. They most recently beat Lipot to go through to the last eight. That tie ended in a 6-4 aggregate win despite a first leg 3-1 defeat.
