How the two managers saw the match

Gyorgy Mezey was pleased with his sides performance

Gyorgy Mezey: "The game appeared to be easy before a ball was kicked, but tonight showed that is was not that way. We were by far the better but our goal scoring chances did not go as smoothly. We had several great chances at 2-0 up, which we should have converted. The missed chances were then followed by a needless challenge from Liptak, which deserved to be a penalty. I cannot accept this from him! If he shows total concentration for the international side, then I expect him to do the same for his club. I felt that several players played as if this was a training match. We nearly paid for this. This was a warning, and it comes at a good time, when we lead the table by 4 points. I watched the match from the stands instead of from the bench. Perhaps I could see better that some aspects of what the team produced was not acceptable. The only thing I will say about Mutumba's debut is that he did what I expected him to do, playing be his own rules, as he has done, but he held the ball well and did good things with it. I am not really looking for this type of football, although he did not play in his normal position. It was not a bad debut, but I am looking for massive changes from him, both from a tactical and stategical point of view. This is the only way that he can change into a stable member."

Kis Károly: "We were sure before the game that we could make things difficult for Videoton. We have been on a great run of away matches, winning the last three. We knew that Videoton are one of the title contenders and best sides in the division. We managed to show the things we had done in training. My players fought well, and the home side could have settled the game at 2-0 up. We managed to score a consolation towards the end, and the game ended with a bit of excitement. I do not think that we let ourselves down, and we showed that it was not by accident that we have won the last three. We are now a mid table side."
