Henning Berg: It is important how to handle these situations

The Videoton manager spoke ahead of his sides visit to Gyirmot on Wednesday evening.

"We were all disappointed after the defeat to Vasas. We had the chances to win that game, but we ended up conceding a last minute goal instead, which they managed to do with fewer players on the pitch. We cannot paint a different picture as this was a big disappointment. The game itself was tight, just like against Ujpest or even the Honved match, but we could not score the winning goal. There was some good movements in the defeat and we were much better than against Paks, but this is football. Similar games will happen but it is important to handle this situations. We are still in a good position and will continue to fight for the league title. There are still 8 games remaining and we will do all we can to win all of them. Football is not like maths and sometimes two plus two does not equal four. There will be surprising results from each side over the course of a long season. The Gyirmot squad has changed a lot since the first half of the season. Several new players have arrived and they are playing a different style of football than earlier. Their football is more direct and they use a different formation than they did in the autumn. All of their games were tight when they did not win. Their most recent game at home to MTK saw then dominate the blue and whites. They also succeeded in winning the game 1-0, so we will have to fully concentrate if we are to win against them" - commented Henning Berg.
