Gyorgy Mezey looks back on the final friendly match

Videoton drew 0-0 with Xerez on Thursday

Manager Gyorgy Mezey spoke about the friendly match with Xerez, and his thoughts on the game. Vidi ended their Spanish tour with a goaless draw, with his team dominated the first half.

Gyorgy Mezey: "This game was a perfect mirror of our present situation. We produced a great first half performance, creating close to a dozen chances. However, it is a real shame that we were unable to score from any of them. Sadly the pitch was not the best quality, although I recognise that we did not make mistakes in defence or when we went forward. The second half showed exactly what we have seen in previous friendly matches. As soon as I make changes to the team and line up, it stops us from playing, although we still had chances. Xerez are a quick and good side, and it is not by accident that they are trying to get promotion to the first division. I am satified on the whole, and we have closed our training camp with a good game. It may have been even better with a win, but there isn't much importance to that in the end."
