Videoton's attacking midfielder played a key role in the Olympic squads 2-0 away win
Vidi's young attacking midfielder, Andras Gosztonyi, played a key role in the Hungarian U21 away win in Bosnia on Wednesday. He scored one and set up the other, in what was manager Antal Roth's first game in charge. The win takes the Olympic side to the top of the table in the European qualifiers.
"The team fought for each other, and I believe that we can be proud that we won away." -began Gosztonyi after the game. "Apart from who gets the chance to play, we always have to play to win, and we are stronger as a team. I was up against big strong players on the right side, but I was convinced that I could create space out there. I got a great ball following a quick counter attack, and I managed to beat the defender, and my shot beat their keeper. We now need to win three games in a row to qualify for the European championships. I am sure that we can do that."
