The Vidi manager knows the importance of tonight's cup game away at Vasas.
The next round of the MOL Hungarian Cup takes place on Wednesday evening at the home of NB II side Vasas FC. The game at the Rudolf Illovszky stadium is a vital one for Vidi who will look to progress against the Budapest side, which has already beaten Senyo 5-1 and Egri SE 2-0. A place in the last 16 is on offer as Vidi look to build on their two cup wins to date against Tiszafoldvar 5-0, and Gardony 4-1. Tonight's game will be decided on the night with extra time and a penalty shootout if necessary.
"Vasas are a strong side that is made up of international and NB I players. The Hungarian cup has its own prestige so it will be a difficult game for us as well as a critical one. We have no other choice but to win. If a player cannot motivate himself or be pumped up, then it is a pity to even talk about it" - commented manager Gabor Marton ahead of the cup tie.
