The 30-year-old Hungarian national team winger arrives in Székesfehérvár on a season loan deal.
Following an agreement between Fehérvár FC and Vasas FC, Hungarian international Filip Holender, who can also play as a winger and striker, will join the team on loan.
Filip Holender, who has dual Serbian-Hungarian citizenship, was born on 27th July 1994 in Kragujevac. He started playing football in his hometown and joined Budapest Honvéd in 2009. He made his debut in the top flight on 8th March 2013 in a league match against Paks. With Kispest he won the league title in the 2016/2017 season and in the 2018/2019 season he became the top scorer of the NB I with 16 goals, tied with Davide Lanzafame.
In 2019, he moved to FC Lugano in Switzerland, where he scored 5 goals in 27 league games. In the 2020/2021 season, he went on loan to Partizan Belgrade, where he scored 9 goals in 26 league games, and the Serbs bought his playing rights permanently. He won two league and one cup silver medal with Partizan.
He returned to Hungary in the summer of 2022, signed by Vasas FC. He scored 8 goals in 30 NB I games in his first season with the red-blue side, and 5 goals in 30 NB II games in 2023/2024.
He made his debut for the Hungarian national team in November 2018, in a Nations League clash against Finland. So far, he has appeared in 16 matches for the national team, scoring one goal.
