The 23-year-old goalkeeper arrives on loan from Veszprém.
Following an agreement between Fehérvár FC and VSC 2015 Veszprém, the 192 cm tall goalkeeper Botond Kemenes will join our club on loan.
Born on 11 November 2001 in Budapest, Kemenes Botond started playing football in 2008 at Újpest TE, before moving to TVE III. Kerületi TVE, Vasas Kubala Akadémia and Budapest Honvéd-MFA.
In the summer of 2018, he moved to Germany, to the academy of FC Hansa Rostock, where he was previously coached by world champion Toni Kroos, among others..
In September 2020 he returned to Hungary and joined Mezőkövesd. He made his senior debut for the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county side in the 2020/2021 season.
In the summer of 2021 he returned to the then NB II III District TVE, where he was mainly counted on as a substitute. A year later, in the 2022/2023 season, he was given several chance in NB III, keeping goal a total of 8 times and once in the Hungarian Cup.
In the 2023/2024 season, he was transferred to VSC 2015 Veszprém, managed by Tamás Pető, where he got 10 chances in the NB III North-West group and also played in 3 MOL Hungarian Cup matches.
In the autumn season of the 2024/2025 season, he was the number one goalkeeper of Veszprém, who finished 3rd in the North-Western Group of NB III, in 15 league and 2 cup matches. Previously he also played for the Hungarian national team from U15 to U17.
The name Kemenes rings a bell in the "goalkeeping profession", and this time it is not just a coincidental name identity either; Botond is the younger brother of Szabolcs Kemenes, who was voted Goalkeeper of the Year by the HLSZ in 2013 and spent the best years of his career at Honvéd. Botond Kemenes will be wearing the number 44 shirt. We wish him good luck in red and blue!
