We have been unable to beat Paks since the summer of 2019.
Fifth in the table Paksi FC visit the MOL Arena Sosto on Wednesday evening. The league game will kick off at 20:00pm. Our opponents have been inconsistent of late having won three of their seven games this year. They have lost twice and also drawn the same amount of games. Paks have played 23 league games this season, winning 9, drawing 5 and losing 9 games. They have scored 46 and conceded 43.
It is interesting to see that we have not been able to beat Paks in the NB I since the summer of 2019. That was back on the 24th August 2019 in a game, which we won 2-0 away. There has since been a 0-0, 1-1 and also two defeats, which were at home by 2-0 and a 1-0 loss away.
The winter transfer window saw two players leave the club. They were Richard Csosz and Robert Kovari. There were three that came in the other direction. Andras Vagi signing on a free transfer, while Oliver Tamas also joined on loan from Vidi. The final arrival was former Vidi player Balint Szabo. he was most recently on loan at NB II side Kaposvar.
In the MOL Hungarian Cup, Gyorgy Bognar's side did not make it into the final 8 of the competition. They suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Budafok. Paksi FC's current top goalscorer is also the current NB I leading scorer in the form of Janos Hahn, who has scored 13 goals this season.
