The two head coaches shared their thoughts on Wednesday's friendly game.
Horváth Ferenc:
„We played in a good match against strong opponents. There was a good tempo to the game, with the players having worked very hard. We led 2-1 after 60 minutes, which is a positive aspect, but the team fell apart a little after the substitutions. I do not want to say by this that those who came on, did not do their part, but it is very hard to come on and adjust to the pace in a match like this. Our defending was good and we also created several chances. We managed to convert two of those in to goals. I would sum up the match positively overall. The players did well against a side that have for many years been playing in European competition. It was not easy but we stood our ground."
Krunoslav Jurčić:
„I am satisfied with the performance of my players, as we are in the middle of our pre-season. It is understandable if the players are tired at this point than in a league match. We had a man less for the second half, which I was a little scared about, as we had several players on the pitch, who after slight injuries were back in action. The players worked well to make up for the player that was sent off. Vidi showed that they are a tough side so today's game was useful."
