The two head coaches shared their thoughts on Thursday's friendly.
Ferenc Horváth:
"We looked to play strong opponents on purpose at the training camp. We looked first at playing opponents that were also in the middle of their pre-season period. However, we had the chance to play against Elche in a friendly game. Their players are in a totally different condition at the moment, which is no surprise as their season is currently going on. We still had chances and there was a big chance when the score was at 0-0. I got what I was expecting during this phase of pre-season over the first sixty minutes."
Rubén Baraja:
"The most important thing for us was to give playing time to those players that have had limited match action in the league. Today's game gave us the chance against good opponents. Our aim over the spring will be to recover from a complicated summer, and become a stable second division side. We will see when we can talk about the first division again."
