Boban Nikolov: We could not make the decisive blow

The second match of the OTP Bank league 2018-19 season ended in a 1-1 draw between MOL Vidi FC and Paksi FC. Macedonian midfielder Boban Nikolov played 67 minutes of the game before being replaced by Szabolcs Huszti. We spoke to him following the final whistle.

"I am very disappointed about today's game as we should have won. We conceded a goal, which I thought included a foul leading up to it and this changed everything. Football can be like this and we went up a gear at 0-1 and managed to quickly level. However, we could not make that decisive blow. It did not surprise me when the manager brought me off as this is part of football. This happens to every player from time to time. I will play 90 minutes next time and it does not mean too much. One thing certain is that we have to quickly forget this game and prepare for our match on Wednesday" - commented Boban Nikolov.
