Bernard Casoni: Hard work will help us through this

Bernard Casoni: "We created many chances and should have scored goals. We then suffered bad luck with the goal that we conceded in the second half. The players really wanted to win. We are playing key games every three days. We also have this new rule of having only 5 foreign players on the pitch at the same time, which does not make things any easier. We put our opponents under lots of pressure in the first half. It is very hard psychologically to accept that nothing came together and we also conceded an unfortunate own goal. Oliveira has lots of playing minutes in his legs and he was tired. He has played in virtually all of the matches recently. We would have been risking him injury had he stayed on the pitch for any longer. We planned to bring him off during the match anyway. We had to take off Simon due to injury. With him being a Hungarian player, I could only replace him with another Hungarian.  We have been searching for a striker for a month now, and although we managed to bring in Rudolf, the club continues to work hard to bring in a new striker. I hope that we get through this with hard work"

Mészöly Géza: "It is a very valuable win at the home of the league champions. We did so much to get this win. We did not arrive in Szekesfehervar to just try and avoid defeat. We came here to pick up a result. We had chances in the first half. I am thinking here for example with the goal that was ruled offside. Gabor Kiraly produced several good saves and played a big part in the success. We managed to beat Vidi as a team, but I have to also add that fortune was also on our side.
