A much changed DVTK visit Videoton on Sunday

The new league season kicks off on Sunday for Videoton with the visit of the Miskolc club.

DVTK ended last season in 9th place. The 33 league matches saw them win 10, draw 9 and lose 15 times. Top scorer was Soma Novothny with 8 goals to his name. He returned to Napoli over the summer after a loan spell.

There have been several key changes over the last few weeks at the Miskolc club. Sandor Egervari departed and in his place came Ferenc Horvath, who had managed Vidi to second place last season. Other players to leave included Koman, Grumics, Manjrekar, Kovacs, Egerszegi and Vidi bound David Barczi. Arrivals have been Ugrai, Lazar and Diego Vela.

DVTK have played 7 pre-season friendly games. They have won 3 and lost 3 matches. They most recently lined up as follows: Antal – Lázár P. (Okuka), Lipták, Tamás M., Nemes (Németh M.) – Nikházi, Oláh B. (Kitl) – Vela (Eperjesi), Bognár I. (Griffiths), Ternován (Bacsa) – Ugrai (Szabó I B.).

Videoton twice managed to defeat DVTK last season, while losing the third game between the two. Each game ended in the same 2-1 scoreline.
