The two managers spoke to the media following Sunday's season opener.
Henning Berg:
"Naturally I am very disappointed with the result. We started well but did not play to the level we can today. Diosgyőr deserve recognition, and they carried out well what they planned. We conceded goals from two preventable situations. Perhaps one of these can fit into a game, but not two. We had many chances, especially towards the end of the match, and should have converted more of these. We had some changes to our team compared to Thursday, which was due to all the players being in good physical condition. However, we did not function as a team today as we can. We were not as quick than we were against Cukaricki, and did not move the ball around and were not that precise. That created several battles on the pitch, which all played a part in us not picking up a point."
Ferenc Horváth:
"I am very pleased that my first game for Diosgyőr went as well as it did. I think that it was down to the will and the heart. We had two youngsters in the team, and there were other players who played their first match in the first division. There were others that have only trained with us for three days. I am very proud of the lads."
