The agreement between Vicenza and our club, will see Lamin Jallow continue his career at MOL Fehevár FC on loan for the time being, but with an option to buy.

The Gambian international striker was born on the 18th December 1995 in Banjul, the capital of his country, but after a short domestic career he moved to Verona in 2014, where he joined Chievo. He made his debut in the Seria A for the blue and yellows, before spending the last four and a half years in the Italian second division (playing for Trapani, Cesena, Salernitana and Vicenza in turn), scoring 28 goals and providing 12 assists in 128 league appearances. In the 2020/2021 season, he scored 3 goals and 2 assists in 21 games for Vicenza, scoring in the last game of the season.

Lamin made his Gambia debut in 2016, followed by 13 other caps, and has scored once so far - most recently against Congo in March this year.

"The coaching staff had already been watching Lamin, but after I joined Vidi, the process slowed down a bit, as I wanted to make sure that he had the qualities that could be useful for the team. We believe that his speed and physical presence will definitely add a lot to our attacking game, as well as increasing the variation options for the head coach." - commented István Sallói.

"I'm happy to be here, I know that I'm joining a team with a great history and a great ambition for the next period and I hope I can be an active part of that! I am looking forward to meeting and celebrating with the fans in the stadium, I believe that with their help we will be able to perform well. My teammate at Vicenza was Davide Lanzafame, who told me a lot about the Hungarian championship, and I know that there are good teams in the league, there are no easy games to play. My family is arriving in Székesfehérvár next week, and we want to settle in with my 3-year-old daughter, 5-month-old son and wife. Of course they are very excited about this new period, as am I." - commented Lamin Jallow, who will wear the number 30 shirt for Vidi.
