TAMÁS PETŐ

"We've had a great week, we need to keep going in the same direction"

After the match, which ended in a 6-1 victory for Fehérvár, Tamás Pető and Zoltán Gera assessed the game.

Tamás Pető:

"Looking at the result you might think it was an easy match, but it was not. In the first half Kecskemét organised their defence well, it was difficult to play against them. They quickly took the lead, and although we managed to equalize, we played quite dull. In the second half, thanks to the substitutions, we picked up speed, played much faster and finally took our chances. The five-man defensive system gives us more security; we have a young team, there is always a back-up man in this line-up. Stefanelli deserved to score, he does a lot for this team, just think of his great sprint in the cup game, where he raced back to tackle in front of our own goal. We've had a great week, we need to keep going in the same direction. We need to carry that mentality forward to the next games."

Zoltán Gera:

"It's difficult to talk about this match because for a long time it didn't look like we were going to lose 6-1. We played well in the first half and took the lead, although the opponent quickly equalized. In the second, the game flowed without a situation, and then Vidi scored their second goal, after which we fell apart. In the end, we lost our goalkeeper, who was replaced by an outfield player, and suffered a heavy defeat. Kalmar and Stefanelli were quality substitutes for Vidi, but that's no reason for our defence to fall apart and end up with such a defeat."
