PRESS CONFERENCE

"We really deserved these three points"

Tamás Pető and Gábor Márton assessed the match after the 1-0 win for Vidi.

Tamás Pető:

"We really deserved these three points, also because of the way we played in the last weeks. We could have closed the game in the first half, we created a lot of scoring chances. In the second half, we defended deeper, giving the opponent more space, trying to turn their own weapon, counter attacks, into a counter attack. I am very happy with Melnyik's goal, he returned as a starter today after a long lay-off. The whole team played a smart and organised game, and I'm particularly pleased that Geri Nagy saved the penalty that was the subject of an opinion. I'm pleased with our performance, we got a very important three points at the home of a very unpleasant opponent."

Gábor Márton:

"The first half was a little bit weak, but I didn't feel that our opponent was getting the better of us. There were chances here and there. We dominated the second half, we had chances, but we were not lucky, and we didn't play very well. Obviously we didn't deserve to win, but we didn't deserve to lose either."
