Vidi win with a big goal from Oliveira

Vidi picked up their second league win with a 91st minute winner against Debrecen.

The two sides met for the 66th time in the top division on Sunday evening. Vidi last beat Loki on the 28th October 2012 in a home game.

Brkovic had a chance for the visitors early on while Castillion shot wide of the target. Vidi also looked dangerous through a Kovacs cross. Gyurcso then headed at goal following a cross in to the middle by Oliveira. That produced a good clearance from Radosevic. Lang burst in to the middle a minute later and just failed to connect to a cross from the winger. Bodi tried with an effort from 30 meters on 19 minutes, which was saved by Danilovics in the home goal. Castillion then found himself with a chance on goal after being found with a pass by Bodi. His shot from a tight angle was well saved by the Vidi keeper.

Radosevic then saved a Gyurcso free kick as the action continued. Brkovic did really well to save his side following a good cross by Gyurcso.

The second half started with an effort from Feczesin from distance. However, it did not really cause any danger for the Loki keeper. New Vidi signing Asmir Suljic then came on for his debut on 66 minutes. His first bit of action was a shot at goal, which defender Meszaros cleared. A very good save after 70 minutes from Danilovics kept the score goalless as he got down fast on his goal line. He saved a Sidibe header for the second time in the match. Gyurcso had a free kick from distance moments later that hit the side netting. Bereczki could have given Debrecen the lead soon after, but he could not connect with the cross in front of goal.

The game was settled in injury time: Szolnoki crossed and Jovanovic headed the ball out to Oliveira. He controlled the ball before hitting a sweet shot from 26 meters in to the top corner. (1-0).

The 5 minutes of stoppage time did not really produce any more chances. Vidi picked up their second league win of the season. There is a break in the league season next weekend due to the international matches. Vidi will next play on the 12th September against Paks.
