Three important league points are on offer at the weekend with a trip to Paks.
Our team will be in action on Sunday at 17:30pm when they take on Paks in match 13 of the league season. The green and whites did not make a good start to the season picking up a single point in the opening 4 games. That came in a 1-1 draw at the MOL Arena Sosto against us. They suffered defeats to Ujpest, Mezokovesd and at FTC by a heavy 5-0 scoreline. That resulted in a change on the bench with Gyorgy Bognar taking over from Gabor Osztermajer.
The new manager saw his side improve dramatically. They beat MTK 4-0 in the opening match while Puskas Academy were also easily beaten 6-2.
Bognar has been in charge of eight league games for Paks producing five wins, two draws and a single defeat at the home of Kisvarda. When the change of manager took place after match 4, they sat bottom with a single point. They are now just four points behind us after 12 league games to sit in fifth place.
They have scored 23, which is the second highest behind Vidi, who have scored 27 times so far. Top goalscorer is Janos Hahn with 9 goals to his name in the NB I.
