The two managers gave their views shortly after the final whistle on Sunday evening.
Gabor Marton:
"The game began difficultly for us but it soon balanced out. We had chances but it is true to say Paks also had their moments at the other end. In the end we lost the game following a set-piece. This should be the most simple part of football as we keep conceding goals at set-pieces. We continuously discuss this and practice these situations. Despite this virtually the whole of the autumn has been about this and us losing precious points in games. I am never satisfied with a draw and the same would have applied today in Paks. I always want to win matches and my teams always play to win. I think everyone can see that the team goes forward to attack, but sometimes we do not use our heads. Paks took advantage of one of our mistakes today to collect the 3 points. Congratulations to Paks."
Gyorgy Bognar:
"I feel like we played well throughout the 90 minutes. It was a good decision not to adapt to MOL Fehervar FC, but to play the game we have been playing so far. In no period of the match did our opponent play better than we did. If a team does well by defending from their attacks, and not kicking the ball back and forth forward, that could be anyone’s strength. I dare to recommend this philosophy to any team. There were opportunities at both sides, but only we developed clear chances in the game. All along, I felt there was a lot more in Vidi, they moved extremely well from midfield and there was a danger in that too, but today our defence, midfield and the attacking line also stood great in the mud. What I miss is that we could have more good individual performances, but overall, of course, I’m happy with the game and the result as well."
