Vidi trained at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on Wednesday evening

Before the training session, Michael Boris and Palkó Dárdai answered questions from journalists.

At Wednesday evening 19:00 Vidi's official press conference started at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne. Around a dozen journalists - a mix of Hungarians and Germans - attended the press event, where they were able to ask questions to Michael Boris and Palko Dárdai.

The head coach of our team said that we will play a very strong opponent on Thursday night, but during the summer preparation we played against strong teams like Fenerbahce, Aris Limassol and Galatasaray to prepare for matches like this. Obviously, 1. FC Köln is a completely different team to the NB I teams, and we have been playing on a Thursday-Sunday rhythm for weeks, but the aim is to get a result in Cologne that will keep the return leg in Székesfehérvár open. When asked by a journalist, Michael Boris also said that it will be very important that our team reacts well to the tactics of the Cologne team.

Palko Dárdai began his talk by saying that the team is hungry for success and the players are eager to take to the pitch in Cologne. He added that they had not come to Cologne to be tourists and admire the RheinEnergieStadion up close, but to achieve a result that would put them in a good position for next week's return match. Our midfielder also revealed that there are several players in the 1. FC Köln squad that he knows well from playing against each other in the youth teams here in Germany.

The coaching staff, led by Michael Boris, held a training session for the players at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on Wednesday evening from 20:00.
