Vidi take on 11th in the league Mezokovesd on Sunday

Three important points will be on offer at the weekend as the league season continues.

Match 8 of the OTP league season sees a visit to Mezokovesd Zsory FC on Sunday with the game kicking off at 17:00pm. The yellow and blues picked up 7 points from their first four games, which included an away win at Paks and home win against Budafok and a draw with ZTE. They have since lost to Puskas Academy in Felcsut, at home to Kisvarda and most recently away at Ujpest. They have conceded 8 goals after 7 games, which is the fourth best in the league, but have scored only 6 times, which is the least in the first division.

They were the surprise team of last season and their top goalscorer Budu Zivzivadze joined Vidi during the summer. There have been arrivals including Mark Jagodics from Szombathely, Luka Lakveheliani (Tbilisi), Szerder Szerderov from Inter Zapresic and the loan signing of Andrij Borjacuk from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Last season saw us draw once against them, before both losing and also winning a match. Sunday's game will be the 15th between the two in the top division. Those have produced 7 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses with a goal difference in our favour of 19-9.
