Laczko put the visitors a goal up before Vasko scored an own goal to see the two sides share the points on Saturday.
Vidi played their first spring match at their new temporary ground against Bekescsaba. The Sostoi stadium is currently being redeveloped, which means that Vidi will play their home fixtures in Felcsut at the Pancho Arena. Director of Football, Zoltan Kovacs presented Filipe Oliveira with a gift after the midfielder played his 100th league match against Paks. A collection by Videoton supporters also raised a nice amount and captain Roland Juhasz handed over the amount to the representative of the local children's home in the Fejer county.
Several players were forced to miss the match against Bekescsaba after picking up injuries. They included Istvan Kovacs, Zsolt Haraszti and Asmir Suljic. However that gave a chance for Patrik Tischler to partner Robert Feczesin in attack.
There was not long to wait for the first bit of action as Patkai tested the visiting keeper with a long range effort. Tichler then found the back of the net after 6 minutes, after being found by Rudolf, but referee Szilasi ruled the goal out. Bekescsaba then went down the other end and scored from their first real chance. Laczko received the ball inside the box, and he picked out the far post with a low shot to make it 0-1.
Oliveira showed good skill after 13 minutes before shooting inches wide of the bottom left post. A neat one two on 16 minutes from Rudolf and Feczesin ended with keeper Poleksic denying the Vidi attack and getting down low to stop the shot. The equaliser came a minute later: Fejes sent in a cross from the left, which was put into his own net by defender Vasko (1-1).
The action continued with Punosevac heading over after 20 minutes from a corner. He then shot at goal but the ball was blocked by a defender and the keeper collected the resulting ball. There were plenty of battles going on around the pitch, which dominated the second part of the first half. Feczesin collected the ball after 38 minutes, before shooting at goal from 24 meters, but his effort went the wrong side of the post. The official blew for half time and the sides went in level at 1-1.
The second half started with a corner by Fabio, which ended with the ball going into the back of the net off Tischler, but Szilasi ruled the goal out for a foul. The 60th minute saw Oliveira dribble inside from the right, and then shooting over the bar from 20 meters out. Rudolf then headed wide minutes later as the action continued. Feczesin lifted the ball over to Nego on 69 minutes, and the defender controlled the ball well before shooting over when well placed.
Punosevac headed wide after 74 minutes at one end, while Patkai sent his header into the hands of Poleksic. Punosevac then played the ball into the path of Laczko, who shot from a tight angle, but just wide of the left post. Poleksic then pulled off a very good save from Tischler after 81 minutes. There was still time for Poloskei to smash a shot from 30 meters, which produced yet another good save from the Bekescsaba keeper. He was also well placed to deny Nego in the dying minutes.
The four minutes of injury time saw the visitors reduced to 10 men after Laczko was shown his second yellow card. There was not further change to the score with Vidi collecting a point against Bekescsaba.Vidi are next in action on Saturday 27th February, when they will be the visitors against Puskas Academy FC.
