Vidi have yet to lose at home to Paks in the NBI

Paks are the visitors to the Pancho Arena on Saturday. Videoton enjoy a superior record over games played over the years.

The two sides have met 25 times in the top division. Vidi enjoy the advantage over Paks with 16 wins and 5 drawn games. Paks have won 4 games over the years and the overall goal difference is 48-18 in Vidi's favour.

If we take a closer look at those games, Videoton have played Paks on their home pitch 11 times and have won 10 and drawn the other. 31 goals have been scored and 5 conceded.

THE FIRST MATCH BETWEEN THE TWO

The first match between the two came on the 27th August 2006 at the home of league newcomers Paks. Vidi could not break the deadlock in the first half. Goals from Csaba Csizmadia and Illes Sitku secured a 2-0 win for Videoton in the second half. That was also the first Vidi win of the 2006/2007 season, which came in the 4th weekend of the season. The first Sostoi game came in the same season, when Paks took the lead after 11 minutes through Tamas Kiss, before Vidi levelled in the 81st minute with a goal from Attila Kuttor.

THE FIRST PAKS WIN

Paks secured their first win over Videoton in the following season. It was Vidi that led with a 45th minute Eger own goal, but they equalised through Buzas on 48 minutes, before Attila Tokoli won it with a 93rd minute goal for Paks.

MATCH WITH THE MOST EVER GOALS
That was more than a year ago on the 22nd October 2016 in Felcsut. The game ended in a 5-1 win against Paks. A total of six goals made the supporters pleased even though Paks took an early lead in the game.

ANOTHER BIG WIN

That came on the 24th July 2011 in what was Paulo Sousa's first game on the Videoton bench. Nagy, Polonkai and Hidvegi were forced to miss the match, with their places going to Szakaly, Vasziljevics and Vasko. The match ended in a comfortable 4-0 win for Vidi. Vasziljevics scored two, while Alves and Nikolics also scored that day. Roland Szolnoki made his debut in the first division on that day for Vidi.
