Eighth in the table Paks visit the Pancho Arena on Saturday

Paks are the final visitors of 2017 at the Pancho Arena. Vidi will be looking for all three points to remain top of the table.

Vidi have an almost perfect home record against Paks. The first game against the Tolna county side was back in 2007. That ended in a 1-1 draw and there have been 10 consecutive wins over them since then. Those included six games when the winning margin was at least three goals. Looking at the league table suggests a win for the Fehervar side, with Vidi going into the game in first place. Our opponents are 14 points behind us in 8th place. The two sides met in September in Paks and goals from Lazovic, Suljic, Nego and a Szabo own goal gave Vidi a 4-1 win.

Paks have had mixed results since winning, drawing and losing games. They lost to Vasas, Debrecen and Ferencvaros. There were drawn games with Honved, Ujpest and Mezokovesd. Further games and defeats included DVTK, Balmazujvaros and Haladas. Current top goalscorer with 5 goals is Laszlo Bartha. Kristof Papp has 4 and Lajos Bertus has 3 to his name. Transfermarkt.de values their squad as the 11th most valuable in the OTP league. The highest value player is international defender Szabo and youth international Lenzser.

The manager is former Vidi cup winning boss Aurel Csertoi. Other players with Videoton connections are Zsolt Gevay, Zsolt Haraszti, Tamas Koltai and two players that have won league titles with Vidi in Denes Szakaly and Adam Simon. InStat weekly top teams have seen Janos Szabo named 3 times, Bence Lenzser also has 3, Kristof Papp with 2 and Tamas Koltai, Adam Simon and Laszlo Bartha with one each.
