The Budapest side have lost just once this season in the league against Videoton. They have picked up 4 points in the league cup group stage so far and sit in second place in Group E.
A total of 20 players departed Ujpest during the summer with the same amount arriving. Their biggest signing was Nigerian striker Kim Ojo, who arrived from Belgium club Genk on a season long loan. However, bad luck struck just days later as he suffered an injury in the 13-0 Hungarian cup win over Himeshaza. Ojo scored twice in that game before going off injured. Viktor Vadasz moved from DVTK, while Gabor Nagy was another player to arrive from Haladas. They have won four of their ten league matches so far, drawing five and losing just once to sit in fifth place. Ujpest beat Vasas 2-1 at home in the League cup before drawing 2-2 at Ajka. They sit in second place in their league cup group.
