Monicomp League: Kecskemet - Videoton 2-4 (1-1)
Videoton made it six wins from the last six games as they came from behind to win 4-2 in this six goal thriller. Bojan Djordjic was brought back into the side and he made a good contribution on the left hand side. Zoltan Liptak was adjudged to have brought down veteran Kecskemet forward Attila Tokoli, and the referee pointed straight to the spot. Nemedi made no mistake as he tucked the ball past Bozsovics. Vidi hit back quickly, when Andre Alves poked the ball past the outstretched hands of the keeper, with the ball rolling onto the far post and in.
The score was level at the break, with Vidi bringing on Polonkai in place of Djordjic. He produced a very good performance, which helped Vidi score three times in the second half to extend their lead at the top of the table. Videoton took the lead for the first time in the match in the 46th minute, with Alves going round the keeper, having been set up nicely by Polonkai. Substitute Attila Polonkai then got himself on to the scoresheet on the hour, when his goal from close range made it 3-1. Vidi sub Nikolics then made it four after 71st minute. It looked like the visitors would then go on to score more and make the final score a lottery. However, Csordas gave his side some home when he reacted the quickest to meet a low cross with Boszovics given no chance. Andre Alves once again performed well, scoring two good goals, and she showed why he is currently the most dangerous striker in Hungarian football.
The 4-2 away win now means that Videoton have collected 26 points from a possible 33, which sees them comfortably lead the Monicomp League Division one table. Honved now visit the Sostoi stadium next Friday, and Gyorgy Mezey's side will be looking to further extend the lead they enjoy at the top.
