Vidi played their third freindly match of their pre-season camp in Spain on Thursday afternoon.
Videoton were up against much stronger opponents following two easier friendlies in recent days. Dynamo Moscow included Dzsudzsak and Kuranyi in their team, which lined up against José Gomes' Vidi team.
The first chance of the match came after just 5 minutes, when Gyurcso rolled the ball to Nikolics, from a free kick, but the shot went 15 meters wide of the post. Kovacs was fouled by a Russian defender on 12 minutes, which resulted in Brachi hitting his free kick at Sunyin, with the Dynamo keeper saving it behind for a corner. Jantscher had Moscow's first effort after 18 minutes, when he curled his shot at goal, but there was no danger and the ball went wide. Vidi were seeing more of the ball in the first period, and were looking comfortable in possession. The Russian side made several hard challenges to try and break up Vidi's quick passing game. Nikolics went very close on the half hour mark, to giving the Fehervar side the lead, but he was just inches away from connecting with Brachi's lovely ball in. Rikov could have headed from 5 meters, but the ball went over. Gyurcso hit a dangerous free kick after 40 minutes, and this proved to be the last chance of the first half.
Both sides made several changes at the break. Dynamo brought on Hungarian international Dzsudzsak, while Kuranyi also joined him. However, the pattern of play remained very much the same as the first period. Chances came mainly from set pieces, with the biggest chance arriving on the hour mark. Uros Nikolics controlled the ball well, before tricking his marker, but his shot was blocked in the final moment by the Moscow defender. Dzsudzsak did have a powerful shot on 80 minutes, but Tujvel did well in the Vidi goal to save. There were no further chances in the match, with the referee blowing for full time. The result was a fair one on the balance of play. Vidi will next be in friendly action against Rapid Bucharest on the 27th January.
