The opening minutes saw the ball mainly in the middle of the pitch. It was Balázs Dzsudzsák who curled a free kick wide of the goal, the ball left the goalline- a possible penalty was assessed by VAR, but they found no reason to intervene, the match continued.

In the 18th minute, a good chance was missed: after a cross was briefly cleared by the visiting defenders, Bence Bedi shot immediately at goal from 19 metres, his ball went just wide. The teams continued to play cautiously, our team was more active, but failed to create any chances in front of Loki's goal.

In the 32nd minute, a well-constructed Debrecen attack ran down the left, set up for Dzsudzsák to shoot, who missed from 15 metres out. In the 36th minute, we took the lead: a corner from Katona Mátyás was headed into the net by Nejc Gradisar (1-0).

DVSC came out in a more attacking spirit in the second half, giving our strikers more space. In the 49th minute, Katona out ran his defender before the keeper narrowed the angle and the finish was inaccurate. In the 52nd minute, after some nice passing, Filip Holender teased Bálint Szabó, whose shot was pushed away by Balázs Megyeri.

In the 54th minute there was no let off! Áron Csongvai won a hard tackle on the halfway line, before releasing Gradisar, who raced to the goal and scored his second goal (2-0). Both coaches made substitutions, but the game did not change: Serafimov and the players around him were more combative than their opponents, they wanted it more and did more to get the win.

In the 74th minute, Silue's shot was saved by Dala Martin, the first of the game, and Nicolas Stefanelli missed from a sharp angle. The game was decided in the 83rd minute, Bence Batik tripped the onrushing Stefanelli and referee Bognár gave Loki's midfielder a second yellow card. No further goals were scored in the remaining time, our team got a deserved and important three points.

The action continues on Wednesday, with a home cup match against DVTK, and next Sunday Kecskemét arrive for a league match in the Sósto.
