The views of the two managers

Gyorgy Mezey spoke after the 3-0 home win over ZTE

Gyorgy Mezey: "Two well prepared sides came up against each other in a game, which was really good tonight. It was a match that entertained the crowd as well. Zalaegerszeg are very discliplined and organised defensively, and it is always difficult to break through them. We needed a little luck as well, but in the end we managed to score in the second half. I also felt that we deserved to win today's game. Reports in the media leading up to the match suggested that only we could throw away the league title. We really had to roll up our sleeves and battle for the three points, which was not easy, against a good defensive team. We also had to create those chances that would help us score and win the game. Just like we have to win a match against ZTE, the same applies to the fact that we have to win the league! The team worked very hard for the win, which was very pleasing for me."

Janos Csank: "The game began well for us, but there were things in the second half, which meant that we ended up leaving the pitch defeated. We were also unlucky as I rarely make three substitutions early in the game, but today this happened, and we then had our keeper sent off, and ended up having eight players on the field at the end. Despite all of that, I am not unsatisfied with the performance of my side, even if we were unable to fight with them during the match. One or two of my players lost their personal battles on the pitch. Several of my players were not running on a full tank today, which could be as a result of our recent good run. Another factor was that those players returning from injury, were unable to pick up the tempo of the match. There were also several errors in our midfield, which at this level must not happen."
