After the final whistle, Tamás Pető and György Bognár assessed the match that ended in a 2-1 victory for Paks.
Pető Tamás:
"The first half was an evenly matched game, and we took the lead at the end of the half. We practiced these deep drives a lot. We didn't start the second half well, we made a lot of mistakes. We gave Paks easy fouls to take free kicks, even though we knew how dangerous they were from the balls in. At 1-0 we had a great chance to close the game, but we didn't take it, and then came the second penalty. I feel that after 1-1, with ten men, we had chances to win the game, they were missed and in the end we lost. The boys' hearts drove them forward, we were better than Paks even when we were a man down, I can't fault them. We have to convert our chances and close games like this."
Bognár György:
"It was a very hard fought game, there was no real quality in the first or second half. The home side adapted to us to the maximum, playing with three centre-backs for the first time this season, settling back and hitting attacks on the counter-attacks. In the first half, although we had the ball more, it was passive possession and we didn't pose much threat to Vidi's goal. In the second, the sending off changed the game fundamentally. I think we could have won the game earlier, I'm glad we did in the end."
