Paulo Sousa and his side trained at the St Jakob Park stadium on Wednesday evening
Both managers faced the media on Wednesday evening, before Videoton held their own training session on the pitch at the St jakob stadium. The main interest in the Swiss media is the return of Alexander Frei, who looks likely to start upfront for FC Basel. Manager Murat Yakin also confirmed to the journalists that he has no injury worries in his squad. He also hopes to put out his strongest side on Thursday evening.
The atmosphere amongst the Videoton players is very high. The team had dinner following training on Wednesday evening, and also took time out to watch Celtic's 2-1 win over Barcelona. The majority of the players wanted Celtic to win, so the mood at the final whistle was good.
The Videoton squad had breakfast at 9:30am this morning, before a short training session and the chance to be in even better condition this evening. Lunch will be at 13:15pm and then the players will rest between 14-18:00pm. A final tactical meeting will be held by Paulo Sousa at 18:30pm before they head to the St.Jakob Park stadium at 19:15pm.
The weather, as was witnessed during Wednesday evening's training sesson is fairly colder than in Hungary right now. It will be around 2-3c during the day, but it feels even colder during the night, with the temperature expected to fall below zero.
