Vidi travel to Switzerland in search of points, which could be enough to qualify from the group stage
UEFA Europa league, group G, 4th match
Thursday 8th November 2012. K.O.: 21:05 Basel FC - Videoton FC
Videoton play their fourth group stage match in the Europa League on Thursday evening in Switzerland. They have so far collected six points from the three matches played, which sees Videoton in second place in group g. Basel, who provide the opposition on Thursday, have picked up two points to lie in third place. Sporting will take on Genk in the other group match, and the picture will be very much clearer after the game. Vidi could also progress into the last 32 if results go their way.
OTP league division one, match 14.
Sunday 11th November 2012. K.O. 18:30pm Videoton FC - Kecskemét
The games continue to come thick and fast with the visit of fast improving Kecskemet to the Sostoi stadium. They have done very well since the appointment of new manager Ferenc Horvath, and look likely to include former Vidi player Tamas Vasko in their defence. They played out a 1-1 draw at home to Diosgyőr on Friday evening, in their most recent league match. KTE have collected 13 points in their last 5 games, which has seen them move up to 6th place in the OTP league. Videoton cannot complain either as they go in to the match on hot form, having recently beaten Debrecen and Kaposvar in the league. Another win for Paulo Sousa's side will see them close the gap even further with the top three sides.
