Swiss match officials for Thursday's CL first leg

UEFA has appointed the referee for Thursday night's Omonoia FC vs Fehérvár FC KL match. Lionel Tschudi , 35, from Switzerland, has never officiated a competitive match for a Hungarian team before, but last year he was the VAR assistant for the FTC vs Zalgiris Vilnius EKL play-off match.

According to Transfermarkt statistics, he has officiated 329 matches, handing out 1171 yellow cards, 21 red cards and 64 penalties.

Tschudi will be assisted on the sidelines by Matthias Sbrissa and Bastien Lengacher, while Anojen Kanagasingam will be the fourth officials. In the VAR room, will be Lukas Fähndrich, also from Switzerland.
