The two managers spoke to the gathered media at Gent's stadium in Belgium
Paulo Sousa: "Just as I began last week, I can say exactly the same, which is that a very hard game awaits us. Gent are a team that scores many goals, which they showed last season, and some even labelled them "goal factory!" We are prepared for them. We will need to run a lot in Thursday's match, and all of us will have to make a serious sacrifice, in order that we protect our lead. I still consider Gent to be favourites in this tie, but we will do everything to make things as difficult for our opponents as we can. We would also like to score a goal or goals. We believe and hope, that we can make our dreams come true, so that we can make it to the group stages."
Trond Sollied: "We played in a very good game with Videoton last week, taking into account that we played away. I would like us to score a goal in the first minute of tomorrow's home match, as we will have to score in anyway to cancel out their lead. Kola has recovered from his injury, but he is still not at the form that we can start the match with him. Playing at home will be a real advantage for us."
