Niko scored his first league goal against Vidi but then hit 70 for the red and blues

The goalscorer found the net against Nyiregyhaza in the 2-0 win and then spoke to vidi.hu

- Do you remember your first goal in the first division?

Naturally, I will never forget the feeling. I was playing for Kaposvar when I scored my first goal, which was against Vidi in a 1-0 win.

- Who would have thought back then that you would be celebrating your 100th league goal as a Vidi player?

The truth is that it is an interesting thing, I was really happy that I moved to Szekesfehervar, and that I could be a Vidi player for several years. I like to play football, I like the team and also the town.

- You could have hit the 100 mark minutes before you actually did. What did you feel after missing the penalty?

I was not nervous. I felt that we always had the match in our hands, so I knew that I would get a chance to score after my first attempt on goal. I felt the same after I missed the penalty. Luckily things worked out well, and Adam Simon gave me a great ball, and I made no mistake. I would have been delighted to score my 100th goal on our home pitch, but I am still happy like this.

- You sprinted to the bench after scoring and jumped on manager Joan Carrillo. What is the background to this celebration?

We spoke before the game that if I manage to score, then we would celebrate together with Joan Carrillo and our kitman Attila Szigeti, which is why I ran over to them. It was a great feeling.
