Mate Patkai: Three points were already save in the first half

Patkai scored twice in the 4-0 away win at the home of Paks on Saturday.

One of the key performances in the 4-0 away win at Paks for MOL Vidi FC was Mate Patkai. The midfielder scored twice in match 13 of the OTP league to take his tally for the season to 4 goals.

"I was surprised at the difference between the two side and nobody was counting on this before the game. Games against Paks are usually difficult ones, but I would not class today's game in that category. They defended from the first minute and you could see that this is how they planned to play today. They made some mistakes in the first period and that allowed us to have chances. The three points were more or less settled in the first 45 minutes. With regards to the injury: I slipped in the first half and fell to the floor badly. However, it does not appear that there is any problem. I will be totally fine by tomorrow. Although I have scored 4 goals in the league, I have no ambition to become the top goalscorer and do not think I am a threat to the forwards. I am pleased to have scored two goals for Vidi and it was important for me and the team. We are on the heels of Ferencvaros and want to catch up with them as soon as we can" - commented the midfielder.
