The two managers gave their reaction to Sunday's OTP match at Mezokovesd.
Marko Nikolic:
I will be brief today: This was our tenth game in thirty five days. This tempo suggests that the players energy are running thin. The attitude shown was perfect today. We battled throughout and I felt that we deserved to win. I want to congratulate my players. We are at the top of the table together with Budapest Honved, and have also made it through to the play off's in the Europa League. I feel we have made a good start to the season. There was a period in the second half when the team shuddered a little, but we made changes and managed to finish the game with a goal. We controlled the game with the exception of that short period that I have mentioned. We passed the ball around well and created chances while not allowing Mezokovesd to have chances on our own goal. We would like to thank the home team for being good hosts and wish them good luck in the season. We do not have a midweek game so will have some regenaration besides training.
Radványi Miklós:
We carried out what he had planned tactically. We did not want to open up as we did last week against FTC. We did not allow Vidi to open us up, besides the goals that we conceded. We knew that the visitors fitness would be lower in the second half, and played the way we wanted to. The players gave their all but we could not score a goal. The tactical mistakes that we made in the midfield cost us the second goal and the game was over. We could not create enough chances in the second period, and it is not possible to pick up points against such strong opponents as Vidi!"
