The managers of both sides shared their thoughts on Saturday's 0-0 draw.
Marko Nikolic:
"I would like to congratulate the players from both sides for the attitude. It was a wet pitch with the rain falling all day but they battled until the final minute. This was the second game in a row where our opponents defended in numbers. Puskas perhaps played with 3 central defenders for the first time in a league game. This is understandable from their part. Games like these are usually decided by messy goals, a set piece but unfortunately we did not find the net. We controlled the game in the first half, with the home side not being dangerous. They hit us with 2-3 counter attacks in the second period, which we have to admit. We gambled and left open areas for them, which is why that happened. I would like to thank the supporters for coming out today to back us."
Pintér Attila:
"Both teams knew how they wanted to play, which I think could be seen. We knew what the strengths of Vidi are and what players they have. They have one of the strongest, if not the best squad in Hungary. My players did everything to get the 3 points. We had the chances but sadly could not convert them. It was pleasing to see the way we performed. We coped well with the Videoton full backs, who came up to support their attacks. We got hold of the ball in good areas today. We were more precise in the second half in the middle, which helped our attacks, which resulted in more chances."
