The two managers shared their thoughts on Sunday's game in Debrecen.
Marko Nikolic:
"I would first of all like to thank my colleague Andras Herczeg for his gift before the game, which I will return before our game in Fehervar. I would like to congratulate both teams for the good tempo match that they played. I naturally also want to do the same for my own players for winning the game. We are in the middle of a difficult run of games, with us playing big games here at home as well as a vital cup match to also play in. We also have to travel away to the home of BATE and then take on Chelsea at home. I am pleased that we have managed to start this difficult run with two important wins. We will be boarding the plane to Belarus on Wednesday and the weather looks likely to be around -10c and very cold. I felt that the first half was correct and we could have settled the match. However, we made several mistakes in the opponents half and there was a lack of concentration in our finishing. The second half was Debrecen's and we lost the ball a few times. I cannot say that I liked what I saw then but I am pleased that we did not concede a goal again. It shows how disciplined the side is."
András Herczeg :
"I feel that we deserved a point. We started the game well and both sides had chances. Vidi had efforts on goal due mainly to us panicking. A situation like this led to the goal. We attacked a lot in the second half and directed things. Sadly we only ended up with chances. We did not deserve to lose but Vidi showed why they are a good side. They played with experience in the second half. Our players battled and gave their all but we could not covert the chances."
