The midfielder scored the deciding penalty to help put Vidi into Q2.
“I played my first European competitive match for Vidi, which I am of course happy about that we managed to make it, through. We didn’t plan the match in such a way that it would be decided on penalties. We didn’t play badly, we had a lot of chances, but unfortunately they were missed so we couldn’t decide the match in normal playing time or overtime. We finally won the penalty shootout with my goal, which I am happy about, but the most important thing is that we will be there in the next round." - commented Lyes Houri.
