Vidi face the violets on Sunday evening, safe in the knowledge that they have won the league. It will also be manager Gyorgyi Mezey's last match in charge of Videoton, and he will be looking to bow out with a win. The final weekend has thrown up some big matches, with third place still up for grabs, which would mean Europa league football for the successful side. Vasas kick off the weekend games against Hungarian cup final winners, Kecskemet. KTE will be on a high after beating Vidi 3-2 on Tuesday evening. Saturday has two games with mid table Győri ETO taking on Kaposvar, while relegated MTK have a home game against runners up Paks.
Ferencvaros are battling for third position
There are five matches on the Sunday, with Vidi travelling to Ujpest. The big game is the Ferencvaros vs Papa match, with Europa Leauge football on offer to the home side, should they pick up three points. Siofok did well to avoid relegation, and they confirmed their first division status last week. They end the season with a home match against Honved. Relegated Szolnok close a disappointing season with a home game over ZTE. Debrecen will be hoping that Ferencvaros slip up against Papa, while also aiming to get maximum points over Haladas. So it is another interesting weekend of first division football in store.
