The two managers spoke after the match to the gathered media
José Gomes: I was satisfied with the pace and play that we produced in the first half. Sadly the intensity began to decrease as the game went on, which I can understand, but I did not like it. The players can feel it when the weather changes so quickly, and we suddenly switch from winter to summer, and the players needed to take on board plenty of water, which can have a negative impact on a performance. Despite that, I felt that we played well and deserved our win. However, I continue to see that although we are creating chances, and just as I said following Wednesday's game with Győr, we do not show enough aggressiveness when the situations arise. We will need to improve in this area.
Tomislav Sivic: We had many problems before the match, but we still tried to play despite that, and we managed to do that for a while. Today we were the sympathetic side that lost. Just at the time when we should have scored a goal, we conceded the second goal of the match, which also came following a free kick, just like the first one. I would still like to congratulate my side despite that, and everyone gave their maximum today, but it was not enough. We had plenty of the ball in the second half, and we deserved at least one goal. Videoton are a better side, which is clear, but I think that we could have got a draw out of the match, but we did not succeed in doing so. We are in the middle of a difficult series of games, but I hope that I will soon have some of my injured players back, and we can then go on to get some good results in the end.
