José Gomes saw his Videoton side gain three points at home to Kaposvar on Saturday afternoon.
José Gomes: I was not counting on Kaposvar pushing up their defence as far as they did. That allowed us more space to attack in to, which resulted in the supporters seeing an enjoyable match. I did not think at 2-0 that the game would have such an exciting finish, but we had a little less of the ball after the substitutions. Our opponents scored a consolation goal towards the end. This win has taken us a big step towards securing second place in the table. Second spot is still not 100% certain, and we will need to concentrate to the full in the remaining games, to protect this position.
Prukner László: We started both periods well, and found our place in the game, but the goals, which we conceded affected our game. One positive from this is that following those tricky moments, we once again succeeded in finding our feet. With a little bit more luck, perhaps we could have equalised at the end, but Videoton deserved their win based on the whole 90 minutes. There are differences in the capabilities of the players on both sides. However, we played in a good game and we matched our opponents.
