José Gomes: The players on both sides deserve praise

The two managers spoke to the gathered press after Sunday's league match.

José Gomes: "We started the match well, and better than Ferencvaros. This helped us to take a quick lead. The game changed after the score became 0-1. The match became more balanced, and there were chances in front of both goals. We could have scored further goals towards the end of the match. The players on both sides deserve credit, as it is difficult to play in such warm weather. I thought that both teams played well.  I would like to give special praise to my team, as I felt our players played with good confidence, and kept the tactical instructions fully."

Ricardo Moniz: "The result of the first home match of the season is a big disappointment for us. If we look at the game deeper, then there were several positive aspects to the game. One example is that we created several chances, but it is not that good that none of them went in. Bode was injured throughout the week, which is why he was on the bench. We tried with Holman and Besic in midfield, in an attempt to surprise the opponents. Sadly they took the lead at the start following a bad mistake, and we could not draw level. We tried to take a gamble at half time, and we had not planned to play Bode for 45 minutes, but we had to send him on to the pitch. We also pushed Somalia further up, but we still could not equalize. The sending off and penalty put a stamp on our fate."
