José Gomes: The excellent team spirit led to the win

José Gomes: It was a very tough match with Kecskemet defending really well. They lined up in a different formation than they have done so up until now, closing down the area, with 8 players usually behind the ball, to stop us from attacking. It was hard but we managed to break down their defence. We had three chances before the goal, and once that goal came, they opened up and we could have scored more, but unfortunately we did not manage to. Today, both the supporters and the team lived through difficult moments, but I feel that we deserved the win. We made mistakes, and we tried to score a goal too early on, which made us a bit uneasy. The positives include the fact that the team really wanted to win, and they fought until the final minute. I am satisfied with the attitude that the players showed, and we are on the right road to achieving our aims. 

Bekő Balázs: I have said this many times already that we did not have any luck. It sounds strange but during large parts of the match, what happened out on the pitch was exactly what we wanted to. Vidi tried and tried, which due to a mistake near the end, they took advantage of and won the game. We did not open up enough going forward, which we originally planned to, but we conceded a goal just when we looked dangerous. I would like to congratulate Videoton for their win. We showed in both our matches with Ferencvaros and today, that there is plenty more in this side. We are a match for any side in this league. We deserve more and hopefully we wil soon be showing the teams strength through results.
