Manager José Gomes watched his side comfortably beat Haladas 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
José Gomes: "I am satisfied with the team's performance today. We played against a very well organised Haladas team, which also played well. It was not an easy match playing against them, and they switched their playing style around well. They played with three central defenders to squeeze the space. We reacted really well to this, and created plenty of chances to score goals from. We also managed to play dynamic football, taking into consideration the hot weather. Laszlo Kleinheisler is a very clever footballer, which is why it was not by accident that he started today's match. He was with us in January at our training camp in Spain. He also learned a lot over the spring season playing in the second division. There is plenty of good work going on at the Puskas Academy, and one of the best examples of this is young Kleinheisler."
Artner Tamás: "Videoton FC managed to beat us from what we prepared. We knew that the counter attacks after set pieces are always dangerous. We started the match well and had a good chance that hit the post. Once the home side took the lead, they played what they are best at. We scored a valid goal in the second half, and if the referee would have given that to us, then the final result would have been different."
